Amelie's
Amelie's a French Bakery is a bit off the NoDa beaten path (NoDa @ 28th St.) but more than worth the drive or walk! Her shabby-chic living room invites you to sink into a comfy couch or sit around a table with friends and stay awhile. The smell of freshly baked French pastries and gourmet coffee will tempt the senses and please even the most discriminating of pallets. The menu is rounded off with a selection of hot breakfast and lunch savories from bacon, egg & cheese in a puff pastry, to leek portabella & garlic cream sauce in a vol-au-vent. Try their selection of handcrafted breads. You'll find yourself wanting one of everything! Amelie's is open every day from 7am-7pm (M-S) and 10am-6pm (Su) but they are often there at odd hours, so if you see the flag out, stop by!
